FALL

So "fallish" out today. Wind is blowing, leaves swirling all over the place, cool and sort of damp, a bit cloudy. I love a day like this. Ryan has a football game tonight, perfect football weather! He is 8 today - hope he has a great game.

Fall 2010

Love the Kitchen Tour in Nichols Hills , a ritual for Marilyn and I. Beautiful yards and gardens this year. Had fun knitting the skull cloth! Perfect for Halloween.

Oklahoma City Zoo

Abeautiful day at the zoo with Ryan and Lisa Kay. We did NOT feel the earthquake but the flamingos were going crazy, wonder if that is why!

Penny Rug

FINALLY completed this Christmas penny rug. I love wool embroidery.

Halloween Table Runners

I just love these runners. One for me, one for Leslie and one for Colin's piano teacher, Lavonna, as a birthday gift. She loves Halloween the way our family does!

Signature Quilt

In 2007 my small quilt group in Norman, Material Girls, did a block exchange. I requested star blocks in dark blues, dark reds and off white. Finally, in 2010, I finished the quilt. I love it and will treasure the blocks made by good friends.
